On November 3, Dr Dimitri Kastritsis gave a public lecture and workshop in Medieval Studies at the University of Virginia. The lecture was entitled ‘The Alexander Romance and the Ottoman Imperial Project’ and was well attended. On the same day, Dr Kastritsis gave a workshop for postgraduates on the Oxford Anonymous Ottoman History (Bodleian Marsh 313). The workshop was part of the UVA Interdisciplinary Graduate Medieval Colloquium.
